ATLANTA, GA -The Georgian Terrace, Atlanta’s iconic landmark hotel, is proud to celebrate 112 years of timeless elegance! Located at an iconic crossroads in Atlanta right across from Fox Theatre, The Georgian Terrace has been a place for experiencing arts and glamour since opening its doors in October 1911.

The Georgian Terrace invites guests and locals to commemorate 112 years with an exclusive travel offer, which includes a $112 anniversary special room rate. In addition, they are inviting you to a ghostly dinner on Tuesday, October 31st where their historian walks you through stories of spooky haunts of this iconic hotel. During the guided tour, there will be haunted bites and beverages throughout, followed by a pre-fixed dinner menu in Livingston restaurant.

“We are incredibly proud and appreciative to be celebrating 112 years of historic luxury in Atlanta,” says The Georgian Terrace General Manager, Antonio Jones. “We have always remained steadfast in our vision of being a cherished local landmark in Atlanta and savoring our name as one of the best historic destinations in the state. We look forward to celebrating this anniversary milestone with family, friends, guests, our local community and our valued team members.”

As one of the first hotels to be built outside of Atlanta’s downtown business district, the historic hotel has welcomed many illustrious guests over the last century, including the likes of Helen Keller, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Tallulah Bankhead, Walt Disney, Elvis Presley and a few U.S. Presidents. In the 1970s, concert promoters turned the Grand Ballroom into the “Electric Ballroom,” and introduced famous, modern acts, such as Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Patti Smith, and the Ramones. The 1990s brought a brand-new 19-story wing to the hotel and then in 2000 and 2009, it underwent major renovations to restore the luxurious character it possessed when it first opened in 1911.
