SAVANNAH, GA – The sixth Blitz Border Bowl will take place Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Memorial Stadium. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire to provide a home away from home for families that have a critically ill or injured child being treated at our local children’s hospital or medical facility.

This ultimate showdown between the Coastal Empire and the Lowcountry shines a light on some of the most elite high school athletes in our region. Bluffton head coach Hayden Gregory will lead the Lowcountry team and South Effingham coach Loren Purvis will be the head coach for the Coastal Empire.

McDonald’s local area owner operators will again be Title Sponsor for the event. Additional partners include Connect Savannah and the Alee Shriners. During the halftime show, one contestant at the game will be selected at random and have the opportunity to kick a field goal and win $2,000, also sponsored by our local area McDonald’s owner operators.

Tickets are available for $15 at https://events.connectsavannah.com/event/blitz-border-bowl-vi-savannahs-bowl-game/. For additional information on the Blitz Border Bowl, please contact Janet Kolbush at RMHC at 912-350-7641.
