SAVANNAH, Ga. — The DeSoto invites the Savannah community to celebrate the holiday season with three festive events. From family- friendly to dog-friendly events, The DeSoto is excited to bring the magic of the holidays to 15 East Liberty Street. Details for each event are listed below.

• Saturday, December 16th from 2-5p

  • WINTER WONDERLAND WORKSHOP: This family friendly event welcomes you and your children into our lobby for a complimentary hot chocolate bar, an opportunity to write letters to Santa and a festive craft table! Our Gingerbread houses from Susie King Taylor Community School will be on display, and there will be some special visitors from the North Pole on property to help with crafts and letter writing to Santa.

• Monday, December 18th from 7-10p:

  • HOLIDAY SINGALONG SHINDIG: Join us at Edgar’s Proof & Provision, located in the lobby of The DeSoto, for a Holiday singalong event! We will be offering special holiday libations and liquid courage to get you in the mood. Partnering with Savannah Stage Company, will have singers and song sheets on hand to lead the crowd.

• Thursday, December 21st from 5:30-8p:

  • CHRISTMAS CHEER COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: This dog friendly event welcomes you and your furry friends to Edgar’s Proof & Provision, located in the lobby of The DeSoto, for eating, drinking, dancing and giving back to our community. We are asking for donations of dog toys and dog food, or kids toys and clothes. All in-kind donations will be gifted to local charities: Renegade Paws Rescue, Union Mission and Shelter From the Rain. In return for your donations, you will receive a holiday treat from us! There will be no shortage of entertainment, as Andy & Mandy’s Hard Candy Christmas performance will be happening.

All events are open to the public and do not require reservation. First come, first served. The DeSoto is excited to welcome you in for a holly jolly Christmas season!
