From Georgia Southern University graduate to Public Relations Powerhouse – Jennifer Abshire reflects on her journey from Statesboro to Savannah in Georgia Southern Magazine’s latest issue, emphasizing the importance of making connections and staying open to new ideas!

“I didn’t realize at the time how connections and receiving diverse experiences at such a young age would help me,” said Abshire. “It’s amazing what you learn while sitting in numerous board and committee meetings, raising money and seeking volunteers as one of your first jobs. You really get to wear lots of hats.”

Jennifer goes on to discuss how, like in Statesboro, the relationships and experience she gained in Savannah would support her throughout her life, personally and professionally.
