Fort McAllister to Host Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration

Fort McAllister, a 1,724-acre Georgia state park and home to the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy, will host an Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration where living historians will demonstrate Civil War drills with musket firings, play old-timey games, and even serve fresh watermelon. Visitors can tour the fort and museum, and join on the fun.

Savannah Speech and Hearing Center Receives Grant from the Savannah Community Foundation Emerging Leaders Committee Fund

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah Speech and Hearing Center has been awarded a grant from the Emerging Leaders Committee of the Savannah Community Foundation to benefit our Speech-Language Pathology program, which provides comprehensive services that can improve nearly all aspects of communication, as well as cognition, feeding, oral-motor development, and overall quality of life for individuals of all ages.
