CADDA Coastal Market is Now Open!
CADDA Coastal Market is Now Open!
Darien rejoices, thanks to the Coastal Area District Development Authority (CADDA)! APR was proud to help tell this story.
July 28th, 2021 was a special day for Darien residents, as the town’s only grocery store went from permanently closed, to bustling with life as a new locally-owned market. After nearly three months without a local grocery store, customers arrived at the Coastal Market with shopping lists in hand.
APR happily partnered with CADDA in hopes of making a positive impact for Darien residents. For those who don’t know, CADDA is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide economic development lending programs to small businesses and industries expanding or locating in the Southeast. Their goal is to to improve the economic conditions of the region through the creation and retention of jobs using various loan programs. And if we do say so ourselves, they accomplished just that with the CADDA Coastal Market!
As an essential staple in the community, the CADDA Coast Market has made a name for themself not only to locals, but also to neighboring communities. We look forward to seeing what CADDA does next!
P.S. – Make sure to support small businesses in your community today!
