SAVANNAH, GA –  The Savannah Jaycees, a non-profit organization that is part of a global network of active young adults, is thrilled to announce their upcoming 2050 Forum to be held on Tuesday, October 8th at 5:30 PM. This special gathering will offer past and present members, prospective members, and community members an opportunity to explore the rich history of the Savannah Jaycees while engaging in forward-thinking discussions about the organization’s future.

The event will kick off with cocktails, appetizers, and networking, providing attendees a chance to connect with Savannah’s young professionals and community leaders. Following this, a dynamic panel titled “Who We Are, Where We’ve Been, and Where We Are Going,” will offer insights into the Savannah Jaycees’ legacy and future vision. Panelists include former members Tom Hussey, Cliff McCurry, and Marianne Ganem-Poppell, along with current members Hillary Bradbury, LeAndrea Mikell, and Brad Jones. The discussion will be moderated by President of Abshire Public Relations, Susan Hancock. The forum will also feature a roundtable discussion on the organization’s long standing mission to develop leadership skills through service and relationship-building, as well as the exciting prospects for new and continued involvement.

Founded in January 1942, the Savannah Jaycees have been at the heart of local leadership development for over 80 years, equipping young professionals with the tools to serve their community and grow into future leaders. This forum serves as a call to action for both current members and those considering joining, to not only celebrate the organization’s impactful past but also help shape its future.

The event is free and open to the public, and all who are interested in the growth and success of Savannah’s next generation of leaders are encouraged to attend. To RSVP for this event, please click HERE.
