SAVANNAH, Ga. – Senior Citizens, Inc. (SCI), a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for area seniors, recently received a grant from the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund, a Georgia based foundation created to honor moms, dads, grandparents, and mentors by supporting programs and services for older adults. This specific grant helps support the Senior Citizens, Inc.’s Lunch and Learn Lectures at each of its Neighborhood Centers.

- Public Art on the National Mall
Georgia Southern University art historian Kasie Alt embarks on a vicarious visit to the nation’s Capital to explore the art and monuments of the National Mall. 10:30 am on Friday, June 16 – Ed Young Senior Center, 103 Turnberry Street, Port Wentworth - Cary Grant: The Man Behind the Legend

Additional Lunch and Learn Lectures supported by this grant will be available through November 2023.
