This one-of-a-kind exhibit offers a compelling look at SCI’s growth from its humble beginnings to becoming a nationally recognized model for senior services. Highlights of the exhibit include:

• Meals on Wheels Pioneers:A look back at how SCI launched its Meals on Wheels program before the concept even existed nationally, providing life-changing services to seniors in need.

• A Stand for Inclusion: The powerful story of SCI’s public stance in the 1960s that “Everyone is welcome here,” a groundbreaking moment for inclusivity.

• A National Model: SCI’s recognition as a leader in innovative programming and comprehensive care for older adults.

Details: This exhibit honors the tens of thousands of older adults served by SCI over the decades and pays tribute to the millions of hot meals delivered, countless wellness checks completed, and the organization’s unwavering commitment to the community. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a guided tour of the exhibit, giving attendees a chance to reflect on the legacy and impact of SCI’s work.
