SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah Speech and Hearing Center has been awarded a grant from the Louisa Porter Aid Society Fund, which is held and managed by the Savannah Community Foundation. This award will benefit the Rehabilitation program, which consists of speech language pathology for all ages, as well as pediatric occupational and physical therapies.
The mission of the Savannah Speech and Hearing Center (SSHC) is to provide access to comprehensive speech, hearing, language and other therapeutic services that empower and transform lives. It is a service award-winning, non-profit agency and the only one of its kind in this part of the state to provide services through a sliding fee scale to families who need financial assistance.
The Louisa Porter Aid Society provides assistance to organizations that serve the needs of children and women in our community.
