SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah Speech and Hearing Center (SSHC) registration is now open for “Camp Hear Me ROAR!,” a language and sensory rich program for three to five year olds. This is an introductory camp experience to help build social and readiness skills children need for effective communication and successful learning.
The mission of “Camp Hear Me ROAR!” is to support kids three to five in building strong literacy foundations and becoming confident communicators. Through a language- and sensory-rich environment, children will engage in therapy-based art, music, and movement activities that foster socialization, joint attention, pragmatic skills, and early literacy development.
Camp Details
We are happy to offer two session, dates and times are:
Session 1: Tuesday, June 3rd, Thursdays, June 5th, Tuesday, 10th and Thursday, June 12th
or
Session 2: Tuesday, July 15th, Thursday, July 17th, Tuesday, July 22nd and Thursday, July 24th
8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. each day

SSHC speech-language pathologists and audiologists are certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), occupational therapists are certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), physical therapists by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and all are licensed by the Georgia State Professional Licensing Board.
