SAVANNAH, GA – SAFE Shelter, the largest domestic violence shelter in Georgia’s coastal region, hosted its 2nd annual Twilight Ball on Friday, October 11th, at the Thompson Hotel. This year’s highly anticipated event, themed “Casino Royale,” offered guests an unforgettable evening filled with elegance, mystery, and an exhilarating casino experience-all in support of a vital cause.

The sold-out event was a glamorous affair, with attendees donning their finest attire and trying their luck at the casino tables, all while raising awareness and funds to help break the cycle of domestic violence in the community. The evening featured live entertainment, exquisite cuisine, and a Royal Flush Raffle that kept the excitement going until the final hours.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the tremendous support from our community, the Twilight Ball raised $100,000 to support SAFE Shelter’s life-saving programs and services. These funds will directly impact our ability to provide emergency shelter, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence in the Savannah area.

“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our sponsors, attendees, and volunteers who made this year’s event a resounding success,” said Shannon Bates, Executive Director of SAFE Shelter. “It is through events like this that we can continue our mission to create a safe and supportive community for survivors of domestic violence.”

SAFE Shelter would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening such a triumph. Special thanks go to our generous sponsors, whose commitment to our cause made the night possible.
