SAFE Shelter to Host Ribbon Tying Ceremony and Candlelight Vigil in Honor of Victims of Domestic Violence

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, SAFE Shelter will kick off October with two impactful events aimed at raising awareness and honoring those affected by domestic violence in our community.
WHAT:
Ribbon Tying Ceremony:
SAFE Shelter invites supporters and community members to join them in tying purple ribbons around trees in Forsyth Park to symbolize the fight against domestic violence and bring attention to the pressing issue within our local community.
Candlelight Vigil:
A candlelight vigil will be held to honor and remember those who have tragically lost their lives to domestic violence. This moving event offers a moment of reflection and unity, as we come together to support victims and raise awareness.
