Gov. Nathan Deal Cuts Ribbon on New EnviroVac Corporate Headquarters

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Gov. Nathan Deal, along with former University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley and Savannah economic development officials, officially opened the new corporate headquarters of EnviroVac, the region’s leading provider of industrial cleaning, environmental services and on-site maintenance support programs. The event, held on Monday, March 7, celebrated the company’s new office at 4912 Old Louisville Rd.

“Today, we’re celebrating this wonderful new corporate headquarters, which will bring 50 new, well-paying jobs to Savannah and Garden City,” said Gov. Deal. “Businesses such as this -- with the backbone of fine employees like EnviroVac has -- are the reason why Georgia has been named the #1 place to do business.”

EnviroVac was established in 1998 with two locations, 30 employees, 11 hydro-blasters and four vacuum trucks. Today, it boasts 600 full-time employees, 260 pieces of operating equipment and 15 locations ranging from Greensboro, N.C., to Prairieville, La. Since 2010, the company has grown at a steady annualized rate of 25 percent, and its new headquarters will combine those 15 offices into one and bring 50 new jobs to Georgia.

“EnviroVac has achieved its current level of success not because of me, but because of my hardworking team,” said Kevin Jackson, president and CEO of EnviroVac. “I’m just one spoke in the wheel, but my team has made EnviroVac the best place for the best people. We’re all proud to be able to headquarter the company in Georgia.”

Members of EnviroVac staff, clients, community leaders, and representatives from the Savannah Economic Development Authority were present for this special event.
