ABOUT VETERANS EDUCATION TRAINING AND TRANSITION PROGRAM (VET2):

Georgia Tech Professional Education has worked in partnership with military leadership, business executives and community organizers, and others to design this program, based on the Georgia Tech Savannah campus.  The program is focused primarily on transitioning service members (from all branches of the military) stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, Fort Stewart, Kings Bay, Fort Gordon, Robins Air Force Base and Fort Benning, who are within 1-6 months of separating from the military. This program is utilized to provide transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses with internships and industry recognized credentials (Lean Six Sigma and Project Management) to increase their chances of attaining employment. At this point, nearly 1500 students come through the program.
