In a recent interview with SavannahCEO, Elevate Savannah’s Executive Director, Crystal Auguste, spoke about their mission as an organization and what inspires them.

Having started at A.E. Beach High School in January of 2020, Elevate Savannah has already seen tremendous growth and success within their program. Not only does Elevate boast a 90% graduation rate for their students, the 2022 valedictorian at Beach High School is also an Elevate student.

“If you consider yourself a successful person chances are you’ve had a teacher, mentor, or coach in your life to help you get to where you are. That is who we are. That is who Elevate Savannah is.”

As student mentors, Elevate Savannah’s goal is to help students move from simply surviving to thriving. However, they can’t do it alone. Crystal accredits much of their success to their amazing board here in Savannah, led by Board Chair, George Oelschig.
