MACON, GA — Central Georgia Cancer Care, the only oncology practice in the state with both QOPI® and ASCO accolades, announces the hiring of Bobbie Young, NP-C as Nurse Practitioner. In this role, she is responsible for managing the care of patients (from assessments and treatments, to ordering and reviewing labs and imaging, and prescribing and managing medications). In addition she serves as an advocate for her patients’ needs.

Young joins Central Georgia Cancer Care with years of experience in the medical field, most recently having worked as a Nurse Practitioner for a cardiologist located in Macon. She obtained her BSN and MSN both from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Georgia.
