BEAUFORT, SC — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bay Street Realty Group recently welcomed Realtor® and retired teacher, Tamara Kent, to their team. In this role, Tamara will use her knowledge and experience to help clients buy and sell properties; and lead them through the lengthy real estate process.

Tamara has been in real estate in Georgia for the past five years, and recently moved to South Carolina where she is now a licensed Realtor®. A retired middle school teacher, she’s a great communicator, collaborator and time manager, all things that she brings to the table as a real estate agent. Tamara enjoys bringing people together to resolve conflicts with creative and alternate dispute resolution. She is trained in Alternate Dispute Conflict Resolution, and volunteered in local court cases in Houston. In addition, Tamara took part in the initiative to launch and oversee the first Middle School Peer Mediation program in Brazoria County Texas.

She is a member of the Circle of Excellence for real estate sales, which means she is among the top Realtors® recognized for exceeding expectations in the business. She is a PSA (Pricing Strategies Advisor), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) and CREN (Certified Real Estate Negotiator). Originally from Texas, she graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Tamara most recently called Georgia and North Carolina home and has since moved to her dream property on a tidal marsh in the South Carolina lowcountry. She’s an avid reader and world traveler, and in her free time she serves as a substitute teacher. Together with her husband, she supports their community HOA and also coleads a weekly Community Bible Study Group.
