Abshire PR was honored to attend the 2023 SXSW Conference with VEL earlier this month in Austin, TX! From March 12-15th, VEL’s interactive cafe experience was showcased under the Creative Industries Exhibition.

For those who may not know, the annual SXSW Conference provides an opportunity for global professionals at every level to participate, network, and advance their careers. Mindfully curated, SXSW spends the year searching for brands, services and products that will take attendees into the 22nd century and beyond. VEL and other exhibitors were selected from across the globe to meet under one roof to ignite passions, collaborate and share groundbreaking discoveries.

VEL is the first of its kind premium, tech-forward work cafe which got its start right here in Savannah! CEO of VEL, Mo Hamzian, said in regards to being selected as an exhibitor, “We were honored to be one of the lucky organizations chosen to participate in their Creative Industries Expo, which housed the convergence of all industries on the cutting-edge of technology, design, social good, health + wellness, and more.”

The 2023 SXSW Conference drew in hundreds of thousands of attendees from across the globe and had VEL serving up more than 600 cups of coffee per day!
