APR Creates Post-Graduate Opportunity for Elevate Savannah Students
Elevate Savannah is an amazing non-profit organization in our community focused on building long-term, life-changing relationships with youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community. Since its inception in 2019 at A.E. Beach High School, Elevate Savannah has seen incredible success in their program. Fast forward to three years later, the rapidly growing student mentor program has now expanded to Derenne Middle School and Hodge Elementary School, starting the 2022 school year off with representation in all levels of the Savannah-Chatham County Schools.
APR has been honored to help their program grow and succeed here in Savannah. One of the most important things Elevate Savannah does for its older students is helping them to prepare for life after high school by assisting them in creating a professional portfolio. Their students participate in a career training program, which includes providing these students with professional headshots. APR was more than happy to lend a helping hand and make this happen for their up-and-coming young professionals! These students will use these photos to create LinkedIn accounts, resumes, college applications, etc. in order to present their best selves.
