‍SAVANNAH, Ga. – Abshire Public Relations recently announced the addition of Shannon O’Keefe as Creative Director/Account Manager for the firm. 

In this new role, she plans and delivers a strategic vision for clients. O’Keefe captures and edits videos and photos, has a passion for graphic design, writes dynamic stories and columns, manages client social media pages, and helps with communication to media outlets. 

O’Keefe has a professional background in the news business, most recently having served as the Senior Producer for WCTV (the CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, FL). In that role, she was a newsroom manager dedicated to overseeing their team of producers, telling emotionally driven stories, managing special projects and live remotes, creating custom graphics, and producing aggressively showcased newscasts each day. 

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and Communications from the University of Georgia.

O’Keefe is dedicated to telling compelling stories through videos, photos, and words. Through her experiences in the news business she has been able to hone her skills in interpersonal relationships with people in the community, social and digital trends, sales marketing, and strong writing. 

In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the dawgs, spending time with family and friends on the beach or the golf course, and is Instagram and ice cream obsessed. She has a passion for photography and almost always has a camera in hand.
