Georgia Tech Savannah's MakeHer Mentor program held its captstone activity this week at H.V. Jenkins High School. The program is a group of six through eighth-grade girls who get together after school to learn all about coding.

WHAT:       Savannah Startup Workshop Series. Entrepreneurs will participate in interactive workshops and mentor sessions designed to walk them through best practices in planning and launching their product. The interactive program will help entrepreneurs identify and vet their target customer segments, articulate the value proposition, make financial projections, and prepare them to meet with investors.

WHAT:    Fort McAllister Rides n’ Rebels. Fort McAllister, a 1,725-acre Georgia state park home to the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy, will host the annual car event where participants can enjoy various makes and models from both past and present along with Civil War infantry and artillery demonstrations. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers and those bringing vehicles.  Those wishing to bring a vehicle must contact the park to sign up.
