Jennifer Abshire

Jennifer Abshire is CEO and founder of Abshire Public Relations, our region’s premier, go-to public relations and marketing resource, delivering results for clients throughout coastal Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry.  Jennifer is also a minority owner of Lucky Savannah Vacation Rentals and is the CEO and key collaborator for Logistics Marketing Solutions.

Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Jennifer earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University. She moved to Savannah in 1988 and worked  for the American Red Cross and Parent and Child, Inc., a multi-purpose children’s agency. By the age of 25, she was responsible for raising more than $3 million per year in donations.

From 1992-1996 Jennifer served as the Executive Director of Savannah’s Olympic committee and helped the city prepare for a successful 1996 Olympic Yachting Competition.  

In 2000, Jennifer created Abshire Public Relations, providing counsel and strategy for over 100 local companies including Bouhan Falligant, Ameris Bank, Envirovac, Parker’s Convenience Store, Visit Tybee, Southern Women’s Show, The City of Richmond Hill, JE Dunn Construction, Georgia Tech, Historic Savannah Foundation, Senior Citizens, and several other organizations.

Abshire PR has donated over 1000 hours in volunteer service and pro-bono services to area charities.

Jennifer is a graduate and past program chair for Leadership Georgia and Leadership Savannah and has been recognized by Georgia Trend magazine as one of the state’s best and brightest “40 Under 40,” She also serves on the advisory boards of Georgia Southern University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Savannah Technical College, Savannah Music Festival, the Creative Coast and the Savannah Economic Development Advisory Board.

An active member of Calvary Baptist, Jennifer has two children, Phillip, who attends Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law, and Reilly, a sophomore at University of Alabama.
