Typical Day:
Every day brings it’s own surprises, which is what makes this work so exciting!Favorite Song:
You know that is why I love my iPod – I don’t have to pick a favorite song – I can shuffle from one genre to the next – a little bit of Country, a little Rock n’ Roll, a little Jazz!Former Work (what you did before APR):
I was the Vice President of Resource Development for the United Way of the Coastal Empire for sixteen years – raising over $100 million dollars for our community. Prior to United Way, I worked in nonprofit fund development in Atlanta for six years and actually started my career in politics working for Senator Sam Nunn and Congressman Lindsay Thomas. If you could be anywhere in the world:
On a beautiful beach in my chair with my toes in the sand…..take me there!Causes that touch your heart:
Any cause that helps children in need will always be near and dear to my heart!Favorite secret about our area:
Our history mixed with our coast – I don’t think people get how special it is until they arrive! What you can/can’t live without:
I can’t live without my calendar and my phone – it is the way I stay organized and get things done! I can live without ever dealing with another negative person – let’s keep it positive, count our blessings, and be happy! Most Interesting possession:
My family – especially my three girls – they are what brings me the most joy in my life!Favorite book/Author:
I love Southern literature – especially if it has some humor!
