It is time to re-energize our efforts and get excited about Savannah’s youth. As parents, as leaders in the community, as people – it is our job to lead our children by example.
I strongly encourage all to watch this video at length to see one of Savannah’s most prominent shining examples of a youth program right here in our very own backyard. What you will see is a youth program unlike any other, transcending the typical conformity others fall prey. Instead, they offer these children a choice and a chance, by igniting their excitement for life again and cultivating a true and honest sense of self empowerment through education, music, skill and play.
All Walks of Life (AWOL) is a one-of-a-kind youth program that is actually making a REAL difference. Let’s ALL get excited, because what they are doing with these children is nothing short of amazing and mutually beneficially to our community.
DaVena and Tony Jordan, founders of this enlightened and progressive nonprofit, work together to provide a chance for these children – many overlooked by their own families. Their generosity and vision mirrors the values they work to instill within their students they help every day. The exhausting and rewarding work they do for AWOL is their passion – not a choice. It is their life.
Let’s show our support and offer our help. If any program is worthy – it is most definitely AWOL’s.
