December is here and as usual everyone is planning their holiday parties in a fast and furious fashion. Year after year, it’s pretty much the same for us all. We pull out our favorite red dress, Christmas tree tie or flimsy Santa hat and ho ho ho through a week’s worth of eating too much food and way too many red martinis. However, party lovers don’t despair, because this year is going to be slightly different thanks to our jolly and creatively twisted friends at Smack Dab Studios. It’s what they do best after all – thinking outside of the box – or the “office” in this particular instance!
The Inspiration: Smack Dab Studios presents their first annual virtual “office” party now officially dubbed “O Mobile Night” to celebrate the holidays with their virtual neighbors, an ultra-fab crew, and their mobile devices.
Open Invitation: Virtual workers, freelancers, independent contractors and all creative types and/or “office-less” employees (because who needs the overhead anyway – right?) that spend the day working from their car, in line at the bank, or the usual coffee haunt that sells those super yummy cinnamon buns (not good for that red dress).
When: Thursday, December 9 at 6:30 p.m.
The Plan: The fun begins at ThincSavannah, located at 35 Barnard Street – Suite 300, followed by a “creatively twisted” bar-hop around downtown Savannah propelled by trivia, Twitter clues, mobile games and festive holiday cheer.
